Katungul T-shirt Design Competition!

Calling all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists!

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists aged 13 years or older, are invited to submit artworks for Katungul's heath t-shirt competition!


The winning artwork will win a XXX voucher prize and their design will be featured on a Katungul t-shirt as well as within our clinic waiting rooms and potentially other promotional materials. These materials will be used to celebrate current Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander advancements, across Australia within the Community Controlled Health Sector.


This artwork can also be included within the applicant’s portfolio of works.

Terms and Conditions of Entry

The artwork must reflect the importance of ear and hearing health amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

All participating artists must:

be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent

identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

be accepted as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander by an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community; and

be an individual aged 13 years or older at the time the Entry Form is submitted. No group entries will be accepted.

when under the age of 18, have an adult parent/guardian complete the Entry Form by stating their own name on behalf of the artist to indicate their agreement with these terms and conditions on behalf of the artist.

The artist acknowledges and agrees that their artwork may be copied or reproduced for the purposes of NACCHO materials.

The artist must accept these terms and conditions to enter the NACCHO Ear and Hearing Health T-Shirt Design Competition.

All participating artists acknowledge that:

they are aged 13 years or older at the time the entry form is submitted; or have parent/guardian consent

the artwork submitted is original work

the artwork submitted has not been the recipient of a major prize before, and

the artwork is not licensed or otherwise encumbered in any way that may be inconsistent with these terms and conditions.

The artwork is not limited to the following purposes, and anything incidental to such purposes:

being used as part of images on NACCHO’s social media channels

being used in promotional/awareness publications in relation to ear and hearing health, or

being displayed in a public place (i.e., Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, Peak Body Offices etc).

The artwork must be submitted online in the format of JPEG, PNG or PDF.

Katungul currently has three clinics that offer medical, dental and specialist services; one in Narooma, Bega and Batemans Bay. Outreach programs and specialist programs are still in place to aid the Koori people.
